As we start 2020 (Happy New Year dear reader!) it’s sometimes good to look back.  Today I was reminded of a video on the building of the M6 (one of the main Motorway/Highways in the UK on the west coast) in particular near where I live along the Lune Valley.

If you know the area it’s interesting to see just how much work was involved in building the road.  It’s easy to forget how big this project was in the 1970s!  Those interested in maps might like the intro.

Anyway you can view the video here on the British Film Institute archive.
