Well I’ve got a little further with a little help from the very friendly people at CityEngine! As you can see the model looks a lot better with now gaps between the buildings.

Nice work! As an urban planner (and no 3d-artist or programmer) I’m having a hard time with the rulefiles. Too much coding…I’d rather use the program for cityplanning or analysing like you with the help of good cga examples. Wish there was a forum with some good examples (other than the ones procedural’s already . I think you’ve found a very good use for the program, putting concepts into graphics.
