My current GIS of choice is ArcGIS Pro and has been for a while mainly because it does 2D and 3D so well and can run my CityEngine rule packages.

As with all software nowadays the release cycle is pretty quick so sometimes it’s hard to keep up!   As part of the beta program I do get to see what’s coming and occasionally feedback to developers (when I have time).

Anyway ArcGIS Pro 2.4 is around the corner and from my perspective the beta has been pretty stable.   So now come the videos from Esri about “What’s New in ArcGIS Pro 2.4” and also interestingly a video showing some of the ‘ideas’ site suggestions and what has been incorporated in this release.  I personally like this and gives me reassurance that Esri are responsive to change when it comes to feature requests.   Of course this is at their pace but that’s the deal.
