This page is a holding page for all the posts on CityEngine created by a company called Procedural who have just been purchased by ESRI .
I’m looking at hosting some free CityEngine CGA rules, examples and tutorials here as well in the mean time you can read my posts tagged with CityEngine here.
I’m also looking at releasing a very basic CGA rule wizard that you can use to create in a more structured form basic rules for urban areas.

Its great to see that you’ve taken on the endeavor of creating a rule file wizard. I’ve been thinking about this idea for the past year or so, but have yet to really act on my intentions. I’m a landscape architecture masters student, and I’m really interested in using city engine for our line of work. During this current semester of school I will be undertaking an independent study that will evaluate the usefulness and applications of CE for landscape architecture. I’m looking forward to your blog updates and the release of the rule wizard!
