Update: Uh oh @mapsgirl has kindly pointed out that if you use Disqus for your comments on blogger then you won’t be able to get comments to your posts via disqus on the mobile site (the default blogger comments system seems unaffected)
Just a quick news item that if you are visiting this site with a mobile/cell phone you will see a specially formatted site!
How did I do this miracle of modern wizardry you ask?

Simple I switched my blogger dashboard (goto draft.blogger.com) to draft and then under settings – Email & Mobile checked the following:
Yes, show the mobile version of my template on mobile devices.

Planning Portal Outbuildings mini-guide
I follow a few blogs and one of them is the Planning Portal director’s blog. For those who don’t know the Planning Portal is a central website/gov IT project that allows for the submission of Planning applications electronically to your local authority whilst also holding lots of information and news relating to planning. I personally think it’s a great site/IT project that shows that government IT projects can work.
Anyway they’ve released a new mini-guide to help, interested parties figure ou what exactly they can be build under ‘Permitted Development’ (i.e. no Planning Permission required) in the UK.
The announcing blog post can be found here
and
the link to the miniguide is found here.
The main page for the Planning Portal is this http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/
