Off Topic: Refresh for GeoPlanIT (thanks in part to Artisteer)
As you will have noticed I’ve changed the look of my blog again to keep it fresh and hopefully make it easier to read. Please let me know if there are any improvements that could be made or display issues. I’m still using Artisteer and can I just say its a joy to use

As I mentioned in a previous post (website template design) Artisteer is a great way of creating a template without getting involved in the underlying code. Really it’s a clever template wizard rather than a template editor, but I’ve found it very easy to use and quick!
Artisteer is now on version 2.3 and you can use it to design templates for Blogger sites like this one. If you have a blogger site and want to change its template easily I suggest you give it a try. One feature I really like is its ability to automatically upload your created template directly to your blogger site. No manual uploading and fiddling with HTML and XML files required!

Website template design for Joomla!? Artisteer 2
If you’ve ever created a website using one of the content management system (CMS) out there like Joomla, Mambo or WordPress you’ll know that actually getting something other than a generic template is difficult (unless you like mucking about in CSS and HTML on a text editor). But then I saw a review for this program in PcPro (http://www.pcpro.co.uk), it’s called Artiseer and it can create your (in my case Joomla) template very quickly.
Start by clicking on the suggest design button until you like a certain style or until it’s near enough what you want. Then click any one of the suggest colors, fonts, layout, background or sheet buttons till you find something you like. If you want finer control that can be done as well so you can pick exact colours and choose your own images.
If need to create a good looking joomla /wordpress/ drupal template quickly this is certainly the program for you!
